Air Flow inside

One thing we did notice when looking closely at the 310RE we are buying, is most of the windows do not slide open to provide maximum air flow. They crank or screw out just a few inches.

Our Jayco had more sliding windows, and even it was lacking air flow.

Any opinions on wishing the windows opened more? Anyone have issues with a lack of good air flow inside?

Both my TTs have had sliding windows except the emergency exit ones. I think you are referring to frameless windows which is considered "better" or an upgrade on many units. I'm not sure about airflow but you can have a crank open window open in the rain when a slider will let rain in.

As mentioned, you can leave the awning style window open without rain coming in. This is one of the reasons we choose our trailer. Adding a good roof vent fan (like Fantastic or Maxxair) can improve air flow greatly if you feel the need.

I've got a new 310RE and haven't had any issue with windows. Plenty of air circulating - but..here in Florida, we seldom have the windows open - too hot! Good luck on your 310RE. We really like ours.

Three of my windows open outwards and I can leave those open no matter how much rain that I have. The sliders @ the back are a different story as sideways rain will sometimes come through.
I have vent covers and I leave my roof vents open all of the time.
As far as ventilation I have too much if anything but it sure makes it nice on those warm summer nights.:applause::applause:

We don't like sliding windows due to rain etc. just coming in. We have frameless with the crank out lower windows which work great in most weather. As far as opening them in warmer climates for "a breeze", we don't unless in areas where the humidity is low. In FL as we are now, or other places, we just don't open the windows.....but then again, we come from a place where 15% humidity is a humid day.
