Noisy H/W

I've noticed that no matter what tap that I use the hot water on alone makes a noise like the pump is on but it's not:confused: I can hear it more from the tank and it has me a little confused. There's no drop in pressure nor does the hot water run out fast. Everything is working fine cept that weird buzzing sound:eek:

The one way valve at the hot water outlet may be "calcified" causing it to vibrate when water runs through it ??? I've had a couple of issues with that valve. It's located at the top fitting on the back of your water heater and is designed to prevent cold water from flowing back into the water heater when the winterization bypass is used.
