Keystone Passport 2013 2890RL GT owners using AL-KO 10x 1 3/4 brake assemblies (as stamped on plate) will have a hard time locating and replacing their brake assemblies. Even after providing part numbers; the dealers, manufacturers, and shops were useless and never returned my calls, now i know why. After days of searching myself I finally found one in France (yes the country), and one in Paris, Texas, no joke. Probably will buy the other 3 in Texas for future use. During my yearly inspection and greasing, I found on one brake the clip that holds the magnet on failed, shearing the magnet wire off, making it not repairable. The lever bushing was toast which may have caused the clip to fail by excess movement. Unicorns abound in the TT industry.

Have you called Al KO axis? http://www.al-ko.us/1559.htm

Looks like Dexter has acquired the US interest:

Looks like an update may be needed for future service needs:

I've noticed a lot of buy outs in the last couple of years, and fewer and fewer manufacturers of RV components. Dexter even makes entry doors now.

It may not be that Keystone intentionally "screwed" customers, but rather used a component that Keystone had no idea would be discontinued. Look at how many Atwood Refers are out there...bought out by and no longer supported by Dometic.

Yes, screwed may be a little harsh, I will edit my post. I will try to reach out again to AL-KO/Dexter which is now Industrial Axle Company.

Factory confirms 10 x 1 3/4 brake assemblies are discontinued. If you can't find one (and there's only a handful out there) you must convert to 2 1/4. Big $$$$. :surprise:

If it were me... (and I actually did own a '12 2890RL) I'd upgrade the axle assemblies because the OEM is barely adequate to start..

Admittedly, I upgraded the whole shebang instead... :D

That's the best option if you want to do it right!
