hi I'm new I have a 2017 keystone 30 ripr and towing it with a 2006 Tahoe. this is our 2nd camper we had a hybrid before. my wife and I are going to retire next year and hit the road the ripr. we have done some short trips so far to get used to the new camper and to find out if anything is wrong with the camper. we bought it new so some things had to get done my the dealer. I look forward to learn somethings here and hopefully help others with their campers too.

we have only towed the ripper to the dealer and back , about 25 miles , twice. it seems to tow better them our older camper which. was 3200lbs. I can feel more weight bit its seems a lot more stable.

Just purchased a 2017 30RIPR from the dealer today. I havnt picked it up yet but was wondering if anyone has had any issues with their unit? I was concerned about the online reviews of the 2014/2015's because of the paint peeling. I asked the dealer about it and he said Keystone switched companys for the construction of the shell front and for painting so hoping that fixes that.

Hoping to tow it with a 2015 F-150 ecoboost with a tow package. I live in Alberta so its pretty flat everywhere you go here besides the occasional small rolling hills.

ive had the ripper for a year now. we have done 2 big trips with it, 2,000 miles on one and 3,500 miles on the other. the first trip had the 2006 Tahoe . after first trip we bought a 2007.5 duramax. the Tahoe just didn't do it in any kind of mountains. we are very happy with the duramax , and the ripper.
