Is there a limit as to how long a sewer hose can be? Can you basically put unlimited extensions together? The reason I ask is because my trailer is in the driveway, and used often by my kids and their friends for sleepovers, or when family comes to visit us, etc. I have a sewer access pipe in the back yard, maybe approximately 40-50 feet away. Up until this point I've been draining into a portable caddy, wheeling it to the backyard, and dumping into the pipe. I'd MUCH rather run a sewer hose directly back to the pipe. As far as extensions go, I've only seen them in 10 ft increments, so I'm looking at at least 5 connections. In many cases, just not using the bathroom in the trailer is not an option.

I make sure to drain it every time I take it out camping, but it's likely parked now until spring, and it's quite the ordeal to pull it out and put it back, not really worth it to just drain the tanks.

Thanks!

I had to use 2 - 15' hoses over the weekend. The sewer connection was at the front of the trailer.

You could look into the Sewer Solution and get the extension: https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-SS01-Boxed-SewerSolution-System/dp/B00CCYWJQK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477330830&sr=8-1&keywords=sewer+solution

Run as many lengths as you want. As long as it's downhill from the outlet to the dump your good.

What was said ^^^^above. But remember, with 50 feet or so you will need to have a large amount of water in your grey tank to rinse your lines. How about this for $275 and your problems are solved: https://www.amazon.com/Clean-Dump-CDTO-Portable-Macerator/dp/B007HRMYLC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1477341386&sr=8-2&keywords=clean+dump
Their site says it will pump "stuff" 150 feet uphill.....

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I'd run PVC pipe. You can set it up, create a bit of slope, and all should be good. A little extra water from the gray tank from time to time as a pipe cleaner.

If I had a choice it would be just linking together the 4" sewer hoses! Or like Brent points out, PVC pipe.

I have the...

The advantage of this model of "pump" is no electricity needed. It pumps with water pressure from your garden hose.

The home clean-out is over 60' away and never had a clog!
