Hello.
I have a fuzion 342 electrical problem.
When plugged in to shore power, I get "partial" power. ie: Front A/C will work but rear A/C will not. Outlets work but Microwave will not. Turn on Fridge in Auto mode and it will switch to AC power. When I run the generator, I have the same problem. Any ideas?

Let's start with the basics, have you checked your circuit breakers?

Also check ground faults, those might be the plugs but would not solve the AC issue.

Are you plugged into 50 amps?

Thanks for the replies.
Another question.
Does the automatic power transfer switch also act as power converter?
If not, where in the #@*! is the power converter on the 342?
Yes to circuit breakers and to 50amps.
Thanks

It sounds like you have lost one leg of your 50amp service. Try resetting the breaker in the pedestal.

The converter will have nothing to do with outlets or microwave as they are 120v ac.

Check power at the pedestal and then at the main in your trailer.

x2^^ Take a multi meter (if you don't have an inline surge protector) and see if you are missing 120 vac from one of the hot legs of the 50 amp.

Yes. Seems 12V stuff working fine.
Will check with multimeter.
Opinions on Automatic transfer Switch?

Here is a link to some diagrams for a 50 amp plug so you will know what to check for on each leg if you don't have it already.

Since it is acting the same on shore as on gen, reset both main breakers in the trailer one at a time to see which leg you have lost and back-trace from there. If you have power on the bus bar but not out of the breaker and all wires are tight, the breaker is bad. If no power on bus, it may be auto transfer or loose wire connection between. Good luck and let us know what you find. ( Be sure all power is OFF while tightening connections.)

Updates
1. USE A MULTIMETER! ATS good. Power converter good. No blown fuses. (Camper)
2. Check appliances in an outlet that you know is working. (Microwave bad. gonna check line fuse in it) I would use the microwave coming on as an indicator that I had AC power.
3. Dead/BAD battery. It seemed like once I replaced battery everything started working correctly. ????????
Thanks for the input. Opinions?
