Scooters

Hello,
I did a forum search and could not find what I was looking for. My question is do people carry their scooters in the pickup truck bed? If so, how to secure?

We are looking at 2 scooters (125-150cc) and would carry them in the truck bed (8ft).

I have an Ice Bear scooter 49cc that I will sometimes take with us depending where we go..>>>http://www.icebearatv.com/product/pmz50-19n# In Missouri, as long as its under 50cc you don't have to have it tagged..I carry it in the back of the truck and tie it down with 2 ratchet tie downs..I have a short bed truck and it will fit if I run it from the left or right in the front to the left or right in the back..hook the tie down from one corner and go to the opposite side corner like an x. plus I wrap it around the scooter and crank it down tight.. never had a problem during travel yet...
