Well, I took the new Laredo 314RE out this past weekend, and it "appears" that the power converter has failed.

Everything was good until the battery got low, and after that, the lights got dim and flickered when anything was run...All DC items began to fail.

Put a new battery in it to be able to finish out the weekend, but now I'm almost positive the converter is the issue.

I bought the trailer in April of this year, so I'm hoping warranty will cover the replacement.

Your first point of contact should be your dealer. The power converter is warrantied (probably for 2 years) by the manufacturer. Keystone will replace the converter and "back bill" WFCO or Progressive, whichever brand converter you have installed. Of course, they will want to troubleshoot the problem to verify the cause before they do any replacement.

Get in touch with your dealer, get an appointment scheduled to take it in for troubleshooting and repair. Good Luck !!!

Did you try reseting the circuit breaker marked CON or CON/RECPT??? The breaker may be tripped. JM2¢, Hank

Yea, sure did. Plus, I check the 30 amp inline fuse that comes off the battery itself.

Thanks

I checked all of the CB's and fuses in the fuse panel. If this one is located elsewhere, then I did not check it.

Where is this one located at?

I agree. I called the dealership where I bought it and got an appointment to drop it off this Saturday.

Thanks

Find the converter itself & check the fuses on the side of it. NOT in the fuse panel with all of the others. On the converter. If those are blown, it will not charge your battery. You may have to remove the power center &/or panels to access the converter.

Note on the converter in the link, the 2 orange fuses, yours should be similar.

Thanks! That is good info. I'll check that tonight. Appreciate the help!

I took the trailer into the dealership where I bought it on Friday, and they determined it to be a bad converter as well. They changed it out and I had the trailer back in less than 24 hours.
