Hello! Yesterday, after a month of "subtle" hints from yours truly, the Mrs says that we should go look at Travel Trailers. After a good day and a half of visiting a half-dozen dealers and perusing an equal number of makes and models, we pulled the trigger on a Cougar XLite 21RBS. We have never owned an RV, nor have we gone camping very much, to say the least, but when I was a single man, I enjoyed the great outdoors very much, and want to share similar adventures with the whole family.

My mother and father both have enjoyed RV'ing for the past decade, and have been very helpful in helping us decide what would suit us, based on our wants, needs, and lifestyle, and the 21RBS seems a good fit. We were impressed with the layout, quality, and attention to detail that the 21RBS embodies, and hope that it will give us many years of enjoyment, until we are ready to get in to our "forever" RV, probably a 5th Wheel.

My tow vehicle is a 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew/Short 3.0L Ecodiesel 4X4. Unladen, on strictly highway trips, it easily pulls 20-30mpg, and I'm excited to see how it will pull.

Initially, we plan on weekend trips to the surrounding lakes and mountains, with perhaps a few week-long trips to visit our parents, who reside in Phoenix and Demming. Based on the features, storage, and amenities of our trailer, we think all of our current and near-future needs will be adequately met.

We know that no RV will be free from defects, and that there will most likely be some "kinks" to iron out, and modifications to be made, and look forward to the adventure that awaits. I look forward to that wealth of experience and knowledge that you fellow members provide, and sharing my experiences with you all, as well.

Cheers,

Randy

Welcome and howdy from just down the road! Being in Windsor, you're certainly close enough to the "miles of RV dealers" to have a ton of choices and opportunity to look over darn near everything known to mankind for RV options!

Enjoy your RV and see you out there somewhere!

Is there a better way to add chlorine (bleach) solution to the fresh water tank, other than the tank fill port? It's almost impossible to do there, with a 90 degree elbow and a funnel... Solution spills everywhere!

Connect hose to faucet, pour solution into other end of empty hose, connect hose to RV, turn on water.
