We all know Ford and all vehicle companies give special pricing to employees under an A plan noted at the bottom of the invoice. Ford also has a partner program that is noted on the invoice as the X plan. Many companies and organizations are in the program. The only two I know are State Farm employees and DAV (Disabled American Veterans) members. Naturally, the X plan savings is determined by the vehicle being purchased.
If your employer or organization is a partner often that info is not shared. Ask, especially if you are not in the main or only office. All you do is get online and provide your organizations ID, print out a PIN # provided, and take it to your Ford/Lincoln dealer. Pick out a vehicle, show the PIN # and ask for the invoice to see your price and get all the incentives available to the public. Eligible people can purchase 2 vehicles annually for themselves or a member of their household.

I'm buying a new F350. X plan leaves nothing to negotiate other than trade in value.

The X plan on the F350 I chose eliminates almost $4000 from the MSRP so here is what I'm looking at;
X - plan -$4000
Lariet Rebate -$4750 ($3750 on XLT)
Military (veteran) rebate -$1000
Xplan bonus - $500
Doc fee savings -$400

Total -$10,650

Most dealers have a document fee of around $499. Under the X plan they cannot charge more than $100. Add the sales tax saved and the grand total is over $11,000.

What's your final bottom line before trade. I have truck envy. Post pictures when you get it.

Ford also has "Private Customer Savings" coupons (current amount is $750) that they send to individuals. Quite often, if you go online and ask for information about a specific vehicle, fill out the personal information (expect to get on Ford's mailing list), you'll get a letter from Ford a couple weeks later. In it will be a "thank you for visiting our website" note along with a cardboard coupon. The coupon states, "Give this to your dealer after negotiations for an additional $750 off the price of your vehicle as a token of our appreciation".

Not a bad deal, and I've no idea who does and who doesn't get coupons, but I get 3 or 4 a year. They are "personalized" so I can't give them to anyone, but a number of people I know also get them. I've no idea how "widespread" the program is, but it's another way of saving on a new vehicle.

We also used one of those Private Customer Coupons from Ford last year when we bought our new F-350. It was for $2500. For most people this probably doesn't matter, but the name on the coupon was our business name since our 2009 F-350 was a business truck for most of the time we had it. I was worried that since this new truck was going to be in our personal name instead of the business, we wouldn't be able to use it, and I REALLY wanted to use it for that much! Ford didn't care about the name on the new truck sales paperwork versus the name on the coupon as long as the addresses matched. So in case anyone else runs into that issue, you can still use the coupon.

My company participates in X plan and I've bought a number of vehicles this way. It is a great program.

Hi,
My company has the X-plan and I am also a Costco member. I used both then went to visit the dealer and I was very surprised that the Costco program was actually $500 less than the X-plan. This was for a quote on a new Ford F350 Lariat.

You beat me to it..... Costco Auto Program is awesome!! I've bought a couple vehicles this way it's by far the most no nonsense quick in/out. I've heard people doing better after haggling for hours on end but I'm fine just getting a really good deal and saving the hassle.

Off on a slight tangent here to give Costco further praise - a close friend's father spent his life in the diamond and jewelry business as a pretty high up the chain diamond importer. He got me my wife's stone for less than 50% of what it was appraised for retail. The markup on jewelry should be illegal by the time it gets to the store in the mall. He says Costco is by far the best value of any public/retail place to buy. So, if you need some jewelry stay out of the mall and head to Costco.

How much does the Costco auto program cost? I looked all over their website and couldn't find any pricing.

There is no extra charge for the Costco auto program. You have to be a Costco member which of course requires the annual fee.

Start Here: https://www.costcoauto.com/enterzipcode.aspx

Once you register they will send your info to the dealer in your area that is part of the program and they should contact you. My metro area is pretty big so there are several of each brand nearby. There is usually only one dealer that is part of the program.
