Suburban hot water heater

Looking for guidance on changing out the on/off switch on our water heater. not sure how to remove the old one is there a trick to it. thanks in advance.

The on/off switch is held in by tabs built into the housing of the switch. Make sure the trailer ISN'T PLUGGED into shore power, and then just pry the bottom or top of the switch. There will be two wires with push on connectors, they may be 90 degree and try to hang up on the heater housing.
