Awning Question

Out of curiosity, does anyone roll up their awning with a sunshade screen attachment in place? I figure its not a good idea, but thought I's see if anyone had tried it.

I have a short section, maybe 18", that the main screen zips on to that I keep rolled up with the awning.
That said, unless the manufacturer says not to, I might give it a try.

Here's what Carefree has to say: "CAUTION Do not roll up the awning with the SunBlocker in the awning. The awning may not operate correctly and damage to the awning canopy and SunBlocker fabric may occur."

Dometic or Solara may be different, but I'd suspect they all are very, very similar......
