Was thinking about changing the inside speakers out of my keystone bullet. It's a 272 bhs. I believe they are 4 inch speakers. Was wondering if anyone has done it and run into any kind of troubles. Without pulling one down not sure on how much depth I have to work with.

Probably best to pull one and take it to Best Buy and match it with a better quality speaker.
I plan to do the same with all of mine, and add a sound bar under the TV.
Outside speakers suck too.

They sure do. Good thought on pulling one out.

Look for the 2016 Passport 2810BH thread. One of the guys changed his. They are probably the same speaker. I just checked the thread he used 6.5" kickers. Said he didn't have to drill or cut just had to use different holes. Bought them at Best Buy for $50. The covers were black but that can be fixed easily.

I just bought JBL MS6200 6.5 inch 2 way speakers to replace the junk Keystone put in for my outdoor speakers. Installing this weekend, should be a 100% better than the stock tin cans!

Let us know how it goes. Post pictures if possible.

Do you have this style? If so I'd be interested as well. Do you know if you matched the impedance of the originals?

I have a 2650 and upgraded the speakers inside as the stock were very weak. I used Pioneer TSG1645R 6.5-Inch 2-Way 250W Car Speakers from Amazon. It was a very easy fit, just had to drill some new mounting holes. Much better sound.

Funny thing is I called Keystone and the lady told me my speakers were 5 1/4 inch.

Did you have an interference issue to deal with where the slide out passes under the speaker grill? Our slide appears to just clear the stock speaker grill on the front inside speaker.

Not that I noticed. The covers were about the same size. The speaker itself is a lower profile if I remember. You need to be aware of how deep the speaker can fit. I suggest popping off the existing cover and removing the speaker for reference.

I don't have a 2650 but my 2009 Cougar 5th wheel outdoor speakers went belly up so I took one of them out and went to a nearby audio store to show them.

They had a marine application replacement that I installed no problem and have used ever since.
