Rv park in Las Vegas

Hello everyone! Just upgraded our camper from a hybrid to a passport 2670BH and will are planning on going to yellowstone then Las Vegas on august. I already have reserved campground for yellowstone but I havent reserve anything in las vegas. Would like to get input on good rv parks in the vegas. Thanks.

Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone is nice - walking distance to downtown and just outside the park entrance.

In Las Vegas we always stay at the Oasis RV Resort, across the freeway from BassPro Shop. If you stay at Oasis, be sure to order a pizza, delivered to your site, from Pizza My Dear.

Stayed there a couple of years ago. Would hate the campground if I spent any time there but as we barely even slept in the trailer, it was a good time. Starbucks was close and then a drive to the strip.

When in Vegas, be aware that parking is tough for a truck. Found an open lot next to the MGM and it was the only place my truck fit. Went into one underground lot. At the entrance the thing you drove under was 8 ft something. But as you got further in, the height dropped down to too low for my truck before I could find any (even with a vehicle in them) parking spots. Dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Did hit Bass Pro, Camping World, Outlet mall etc. on the first day and then walked the strip the next few days until my feet blistered. Then I found the damn monorail....

If I get back to Vegas with the trailer, would go back to the Oasis, no question.

We also stayed at the Oasis RV Park. Probably the nicest RV park in Vegas but not the friendliest place for your pets. Very strict rules regarding your four-legged friends. The people working there are however very nice.

We found parking for our truck by the Flamingo on Albert Ave. It's free street parking and relatively close to all the action. I also don't trust any indoor parking signage.

We like the Oasis, but have stayed at the Hitchin' Post, great if you like having fighter jets flying over you two to three times a day, and recently stayed at the Clark County Shooting Complex way north of town, $20 per night and great view of Las Vegas at night, but minimal amenities.

Looks like the place to be is the Oasis. I has hoping to stay closer to the North end of the strip, like the Rivera area on the Boulder HWY? We stayed at Circus Circus last 4th of July. Pool hours did not work for us at all, and $88 was a bit expensive just to plug in.
We did find out we needed more than one 15,000btu AC unit to be comfortable, even after midnight. This trip we have a 2nd AC in the bedroom. We are going at the end of August.

If you go to the casinos on the highway that goes to Boulder, several have RV parks with full hookups. Much less than $88. Been a couple of years but there a couple of Buffets along that road that are popular with the locals the locals.

The Riviera RV Park was just what I was looking for. Cheap, quiet, and felt safe the whole time. We ended up staying 6 days.

When in Vegas most people are there for the sights and action. Not much more than sleeping time spent in the RV. So, get a site close to the strip where you can leave the driving to the bus drivers.

We have stayed at a number of the RV parks. We found the Circus Circus to our liking. Really good camp store with tour bus/van discount tickets and pick-up in the park services. After a short walk to the casino you can ride the people movers all the way to the strip 24/7. The local bus services are very good even at peek times of the year when they will run them one behind the other to capture all customers.

Most of the CG is completely paved and looks like a parking lot (who cares). We have stayed there when it’s hot and never experienced a black-out when using their 50 amp connections.
