Hi everyone! We just brought home our Passport. Purchased from Byerly Rv in St. Louis, we ordered it last month. Thought we were getting a 2016 but to our surprise it's a 2017. They changed the kitchen - the sink is no longer angled and the counter and cabinets are somewhat bigger. It now comes with Led lights under the awning - no regular porch light - I was going to add them, I'm glad I don't have to worry about it now. Also all the interior lights are led I believe this is a change also.

So far we love it and haven't found any major issues. Much larger than the pop up we sold a few years ago.

Welcome to the forum from Southern MD. Nice TT. I upgraded the lights in my 2016 to LEDs but need to add the outside LED strip. We would've preferred to have the sink setup you have. It gives a little counter space. Enjoy. We love our 2016. You're the first 2017 I remember seeing on the forum.

Do you have any pictures of the sink and counter? Curious what the inside looks like, the outside looks almost identicle to the 2016.

No its the same as the 2016 can't walk around with the slide closed but you have two doors so it's not an issue, they changed the lights to LED's i see and a new vinyl floor.

My wife was just talking about the stick on tile backsplash. How hard was the install? Do you like it now that it's installed?

It’s easy to install just wipe down the walls, let it dry, measure, peal and stick & press down frim. Around the window loosen up the lower part of the frame so you can pass the tile underneath for a nice factory looking fit. Mark the lower area so the window blind holder holes line up again. I went a step further by using blue painters tape (the good one not the cheap tape) taped all the edges near tile & wall leaving tiny gap between wall and tile, used clear silicone sealing all the edges so the tile won’t peel off due to heat. My wife loves the look and I am sure yours will to. SIDE NOTE: Don't let the clear silicone dry too long 10 min or so is fine then peal it off the tape.

I also used clear silicone and blue painters tape around T-molded counter top edges because of the many gaps that will let water in causing the counter top to swell simple fix works well and worth doing. I also had gaps around the stove top that I had to do so check yours.

Yeah the led strip was factory installed and the porch light is gone all together. It is only on/off, white in color and runs the entire length of the awning. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160429/781a79e0f5008ead61126941bbbce3c7.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160429/918ef433c16c5337a5e97c441afc5a61.jpg

Looks like the 2017 has a different radio too. My 2016 has an IRV radio that is blue tooth capable. Used it in early April when we were in an area with no radio reception at all.

No blu Ray yet, has blue tooth that seems to work well for music.

We were very happy with the buying experience at Byerly. We actually met out salesman at the STL RV show, but didn't actually purchase the trailer until last month. He gave us the same deal as we were going to get at the show.

Used an old comforter and a small sheet of plywood to protect the roof while up there. I was pretty impressed at how solid the roof felt though.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160430/e486a66f6a14335100389b9f16e6f16b.jpg

If you loosen the lower half of the window frame you can slide the sheet of tile in place and under the frame. Once in place mark the tile sheet lay it flat and cut it with a utility knife.

Ask away! I don't mind sharing info, I've learned so much from everyone here I'm happy to help.

We purchased the 12 pack of tile sheets, it was a little cheaper per tile that way. We used every tile to do the kitchen and bathroom. I had to cut 2 tiles for under the kitchen window and used the rest of those 2 tiles in the bathroom.

Looks great. I have the same kitchen configuration and cabinets, LEDs throughout the ceiling in 2016 Passport 2670. No LED strip outside though. Dometic AC runs somewhat softer, if not quieter. Bunk mattresses are usable without memory foam (!!!). The new design is dramatically better overall. But I miss 2013's Atwood fridge and the ability of TV to swivel to the bedroom

Couple pics of the second tv added to the bedroom. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160516/bf7ecfbabfb6a66c1f341d19ea8bc0ef.jpg

I did not use a mount, found some hardware to screw right into the back of the tv. Made a template to mark the holes to drill out.

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160516/2e8ed3f5f215f131b5eefece9d9d60fb.jpg

You really only get one shot doing it that way so measure 2 - 3 times before drilling the holes.

Ran power to the outlet that the other tv plugs into, I split the rca cables coming out of the DVD player so both TVs can watch the same thing. Also ran a coax cable to the back of the antenna booster, it had a second connection on the backside for another TV.

When I took delivery 2 months ago of my 2016 Bullet 308BHS (the twin to the Passport 3220), it was a late production year model as it was built 3 weeks before I picked it up. The dealer did have an early production year model on his lot that had some noticeable interior differences (different light fixtures, bunk room divider curtains (not doors) vs solid wood pocket doors in the late production year model. He also told me that the only thing that changed from my late production year model to the 2017 arriving in April was the trailer's VIN. From what I can deduce is that incremental changes to interiors of the same model occur in between early and late same year productions, not necessarily between the model years. I could be wrong but the dealer validated this too.

I could be wrong but the dealer validated this too.

I think you're right with your assumptions. From what I understand, the "model year comes to an end (2016 MY ends sometime in April/May 2016) and the "new year models" start production. Sometime in December or January, the factory starts ordering parts for the new model year run. Their goal is to use all the "old year parts" on the last of the old year trailers. Sometimes, a light breaks, a cabinet door gets broken, they run out of carpet or an entertainment center gets backed into with a forklift, etc. So, many times, the changeover results in an "old model year" trailer being built with "new model stuff" to complete the run.

The same holds true for using the "old year parts" that are left over when the "new model production" starts. What's eventually not used and truly is "left over" gets wholesaled to Trekwood or to another RV salvage company. Otherwise, there would be warehouses full of "old stuff" at Keystone. Since they don't sell to customers and don't need "warranty replacements" past the 1 year warranty, that stuff isn't kept by the company.

So, it's possible to have some "early 2016 models" with 2015 features, the "mid 2016 models" with only 2016 features and some "late 2016 models" with 2017 features. Also, rather than shut down production if a part is out of stock, often one brand will "borrow" from another brand, so you might wind up with Cougar lights in a Passport or possibly a different brand microwave in the units run during a specific week during the year. Ideally, it "shouldn't happen", but.......

From my take, that's the main reason for the disclaimer at the bottom of the last page in the brochures, "Product information is as accurate as possible as of the date of publication of this brochure. Features, floor plans, and specifications are subject to change without notice. Please also consult Keystone’s website at keystonerv.com for more current product
information and specifications."

We are happy with our 2016 too. We wish we had the sink at a right angle like you do. That gives more counter space than the sink at an angle does. I will be adding an outside LED strip. Already changed the interior bulbs to LED. I'm also going to install a battery cutoff switch. Getting ready to pick it up from storage in an hour. We are looking forward to a weekend away.

Yes I had the very same thing happen every line that went to the water heather (under the bunks) was loose, then again every plumbing line was loose. Be sure to check under the sink as well I had a small drip there as well.

I like what you did to mount the second tv, I tried to mount one in our 2670bh and could not find a bracket that did not make it stick out too far and couldn't slide the doors open. Great idea you had there, I never though of mounting it like that. That is why I like this forum so much, and I like how your tiles turned out also. Happy camping and I hope you enjoy it.

Holy Cow, that thing is beautiful. That's the exact model my wife and I want. We (I) am considering ordering the optional 15,000 BTU A/C. Sorry if this is rude, but could you tell me about how much you paid? I'm so curious what people pay for these when they order vs. the sticker price. SteelerVinny, I have a 2016 2810BH bought in Oct 2015 for about $21K. I had an email quote from another dealer and my dealer lowed price $500 to meet it. If you can get dealers to place against each other you might save more. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

To go even further, find a wholesaler exclusive to Keystone brands and get a rock bottom price. A wholesaler I bought my Bullet from move more Keystone product than 90% of other dealers in the Midwest as they have an enormous online presence. Selling nationally at a lower pricepoint is how they drive more traffic to their sales department. Get a verbal quote from such and use it as leverage locally. If your local dealer will match (or come awfully close), go ahead and buy from them. If they don't, take the drive to the wholesaler (or have it shipped) and enjoy the huge savings. LakesShore RV in Muskegon saved me close to $4k. Good luck.
