Baby needs a new pair of shoes.

When I brought my f-350 home, she wore a pair of AMt-MT 37" shoes on 22 inch rims. Clearly these are not going to fly with a 37" Couger 5er. the new Fiver comes home mothers day. I'm thinking about putting a pair of 325x50R-22 LT Toyo AT-II's on the baby. That gives me a drop of 2 inch drop down to 35inch dia.

Currently the bed rails are at 59inchs. With the new rubber the rails will be closer to 57. The Dealer says under 59 I'm golden. What say you?

I'm going with the Toyo that have a load rating of 3000+ lbs on each, with a stiff side wall. Is there another tire suitable for 22" wheels I should consider?

The tire is 10ply, 3308lbs and E load rated. These seem like a good match for a F350-PSD pulling a 12000 lb Cougar 327RESWE 5er. These tires are not cheap. Is there another pair pair of shoes baby should wear to the dance?

57-59" high is good for most 5ers on the road. As for which tires you should use to get there, I couldn't tell you with a 22" wheel. Anything that drops you that much will obviously have a much shorter sidewall and be stiffer which means harsher ride. I know you're not trying to replace wheels, but I'm a big fan of old school 17-19" wheels. Of course, it wasn't that log ago that we all would have said 15-16" wheels. Keep in mind that you will need to reprogram your trucks computer for the smaller tires to make sure your speedo is correct as well as your tranny shift points and ABS brakes work properly.

No opinion on tires, but going from a 37" diameter tire to a 35" diameter tire will only lower your truck 1", the other 1" is on the top side of the tire. Kinda of like a tire is only ever flat on the bottom, never goes flat on the top. :)

325/50/22 is about the best thing you'll get to bring the truck down some. We run a 285/55/22 on our F150 Limited. It's just a touch shorter than the 325/50 and a lot narrower. Finding 22" E range tires is hard and most are $400+ a tire as you are finding. Does your baby have a lift? I'm kinda curious to see some pics of her and the trailer together
