It the 12v battery charged/working? if the camper in running off the converter alone there may not be enough power to run the slide motor continuously.

im plugged into 50 amp its just kitchen slide(couch,fridge,etc)started on our florida trip,slide awning also came apart at same time,sounds like motor struggles,im at this site for 3 months in the keys so im not able to haul it to a repair facility.2015 montana high country 310re.it goes in and out but just stops after 6 inches or so,wait a couple secs and it will go out another 6

Have a look at the 30 amp breakers . They are probably located near your batteries . The one controlling your slides is probably weak .

You still don't say what the system is, electric or hydraulic that runs your slides in and out, but assuming it is hydraulic, the fix for this problem is replacing the auto breaker that goes to the hydraulic pump with an 80 amp breaker, either an auto-reset or a manual reset. I changed mine out to a manual reset, and have not had a problem since. slides are electric,and others work fine

Connect your voltmeter or test light to the output side of the breaker. Have someone operate the slide. If the circuit opens at the breaker when the slide stops, then the breaker is tripping under the load of that slide. If the other slides work okay then it could be too much resistance at the problem slide's motor, or switch. I would change the breaker ( they are cheap) to eliminate the possibility that the breaker is weak. Then I would work downstream - switch - motor connections. Have you checked to see if the slide is binding?

i dont know how i would check to see if slide is binding.it doesnt sound like its dragging and you cant see under slide from outside,rollers etc

check your ground lug, make sure that there is no paint between it and the chassis. Also replace your circuit breaker. that did the trick for me.
