West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA. Palm Beach is right next to Ft. Lauderdale. Haven't stayed there yet, but my brother and his wife stayed there for three months and loved it.

We have stayed ("camped") at Kozy Kampers on West Commercial Blvd a number of times. http://kozykampers.com/ This is an average RV park in a good, safe neighborhood. Great location, but this isn't a resort. Yes, you can store your RV, do laundry, good, clean shower facility. But you can't walk to the beach or the miles of trinket shops. By the way, our recommendation for a couple of toddies and some football is a bar/grill on Commercial named Flannigan's. Very good food and a great bar.
