I just got done installing my jt strongarms on my 2016 carbon 297 and all I can say is wow . What a difference. Took about 2.5 hours in the pouring rain and sloppy mud but they are rock solid. If anyone has the problems with their fifth wheel moving around definitely give them a try .

We intend to buy and install these over the winter months. A friend has these on his fifth wheel and it is unreal how solid they hold the rig when parked. Glad it worked for you.

I have the SteadyFast version. Trailers should come equipped with these devices from the factory.

Just don't forget to unlock them if you're in a hurry. Did this and it rips the brackets right off the camper. I imagine it could also damage the lifts. I now hang the tool I use to release the locks on my BAL stabilizer from a hook above the control switch for the front lifts.

Both easily made with light tubing I have around the yard with U tube instructions. I can see where the installation could take 2/1/2 hours.I will need light weight channel iron I have sliding tubes from a old tent, mash the ends and bolt it to the jack and frame, weld a 3/8 nut and lock in place. I like the Armstrong design better then the steadfastness.
