Pecan Cabinet Stain Match (High Country)

Just wanted to share some info on matching the woodwork on the interior of the Keystone products with the "Pecan" interior. I have added several accessory items (shelves, extensions, cup holders, etc), to personalize our 2014 High Country. I use either Birch or Poplar wood, (Poplar is gorgeous, but not as hard as Birch) and the following stain mixture: Use Varathane 3X "Ash" Premium Wood Stain, and 3X "American Walnut" Premium Wood Stain (Home Depot in my area). I start with a quart of the Ash, and remove enough to add about 1/4 pint of the American walnut, and mix well. The color comes out quite close to the original woodwork. Not sure how many different models use the Pecan interior, but this is what we got in our coach. Good luck!

Do you have any photos? You probably can't post them through the site but Photobucket photos will. I've tried other colors while adding shelves to our Montana High Country but am only 'close'.
