The Fuzion 325 has an empty pin weight of 2915 lbs and a GVW of 16500 lbs.

The F350 XL CCSB 4x4 has a maximum GVW of 11500 with a maximum payload of 3800 pounds. Add diesel, XLT, Lariat, or "heavier" packages and one of the lower GVW packages, the payload goes down significantly. You can expect to lose about 1000 or even more payload with the "options". That means a payload of about 2800-3000 lbs "on a good day"...

Maximum fifth wheel/gooseneck weight is 15500, but the GCWR of 23500 will limit your capacity, especially when you consider the truck with diesel, options and fuel/fifth wheel hitch will weigh in about 8500 lbs before you add cargo or passengers. That will give you a maximum trailer weight of 23500 - 8500 = 15000 (before truck cargo or passengers).

Will the 6.7L diesel pull 16500 lbs? Heck yes, will you "smile at a traffic safety check? Probably not if they have scales and weigh your rig.

There are several members who currently (or very recently) were towing with F350 SRW trucks and have realized that to "step up to" a trailer the size of the 325, they needed to "step up to" a DRW truck to stay under the rating maximums.

My Montana HC is nowhere near the weight you would have. My F350 with 3.55 gears pulls it well. My advertised pin weight is 2175. Per CAT scales I'm at 2850 plus weight of the hitch. Payload capacity of 3265. I'm "there", if not "over there" a little. I need to scale again in full travel mode.
I've got a Lariat with most options except sunroof and heated seats.
I don't think you have a chance of hauling it legal or safely with that pin weight.

I currently tow a fusion 331 with the F350 lariat 4x4 and 3.55 rear end. I know I am close to my max weight but I was towing the same trailer with a chev 2500 4x4 diesel and it was definitely too much trailer for that truck. The F 350 tows it fine and I am happy with it.

Sorry, but you is in dually territory...

My non diesel 350 has a payload over 4,000 but I know that would drop with a diesel so as stated you might want to look at a duelly.

Looking on the Keystone website at a Fusion 331, it shows a hitch weight of 3015 pounds. If that is your trailer and you are driving a F350 with single rear wheels, you are likely way over if you have a diesel. Maybe if you have a regular 2 door truck, you could be close. I would estimate you have a 3500# plus load on your truck.
I would find a CAT scale and weigh the truck alone, then hook up the trailer and go weigh it again. Then look at that yellow tag inside your drivers door for your trucks payload capacity. That is if you want to know.

You will be much happier in the long run if you go DRW. Ya there are downsides to a Dually but with that weight it is the best way to go. I personally would choose a 3.73 gear also.

I have a 2014 ram 3500 srw. Ram gvwr and payload is higher (12400 and 4074) and I tow a 2015 fuzion 345 chrome. When fully loaded without rzr in rear, I'm around 15200 wih 3300 on the pin. When loaded with quads and a two week trip I was 16550 and 3200 on pin. Truck was at 12500 and rawr at 7100 (100 over rear axle and 100 over truck gvwr...)

That being said, I have towed about 4500 miles this year across mountains on the east coast and back woods roads of west va (twisty and very steep). I have 3.42 gears. Truck handles it fine, but make no mistake about it we know it's back there. Another two wheels on the ground in the rear would be good, as would more payload capacity. I will likely order a dually next year as I think 16500 on a srw in mountains is pushing it.

Also, my claimed weight and actual cat scale empty weights were very very close

Also 3.73 gears would be better also
