I've searched this but am still unsure of the answer. The campground we stay at has a voltage drop on a 30 amp service when I run the a/c along with the fridge on electric. It drops to about 101 volts from about 117 volts without anything running. My trailer is a 30 amp service, if I use a site with 50 amp service and a dog bone adapter Would that help? Also is there a downside to doing that? What would be to low voltage for the appliances to run on possibly causing damage? Thanks in advance for any input.

There is no problem using the 50 amp service with a 30 amp dog bone, and you may very well get better results. As for under or over voltage or any number of other problems, get yourself a good surge protector. That will shut down if voltage drops to low. That is the only way to be safe. You do not want to ruin your equipment.

You will want to verify the voltages on both legs of the power at the 50 amp site and do all the other checks to make sure the power is safe to use.

It's likely that the campground has the 30 amp sites and the 50 amp sites on different power loops. But that does not automatically mean that the voltage will be better in one area or another.

The 50 to 30M dogbone is considered standard equipment along with a 30 to 15 amp adapter by many of us. You never know what you'll find when you pull into a campground. (I also carry a 25' 30M to 30F extension plus 50' and 100' heavy duty 15 amp extension cords.)
