My parents own a 2010 Alpine and I own a 2014 Alpine 3535RE. I personally like the model based on the fact I wanted a toy hauler but the wife would not allow so we had to have a compromise floor plan. I wanted luxury such as BigHorn, Redwood, Montana, etc and really wanted a smaller company but with a smaller company comes increased pricing. SO with that being said, I steered to Bighorn, Montana and then realized the Alpine was in the luxury category and does not have that Montana name but it checked all my blocks and it saved me immensely. With all that being said, I also understand just cause you get a high dollar luxury model, does not mean you will not have problems. I have friends who own top of the line fifth wheels and all have had problems. I personally think all of them will have some sort of problems and just hope in my case if it is destiny, it happens within the warranty period...I have been pleased so far just a couple of minor things that I handled on my own and about to test it again thru the Smoky Mountains and then in late Sep over in to Ocean City, MD. The one single biggest thing I love about my Alpine is it has a huge basement storage area gotta be way bigger than its competitors for sure. I personally like how some other companies put four 20 lb propane bottles vice 2 thirty pounders in the Alpine cause that 56 lbs can be hard on some people. If I had a choice I would have selected a model with Dual Pane windows though as it helps tremendously..One thing I did not factor is all those windows in the big two opposing slides of mine are nice for light but let in tons of heat. I am also glad I did not chose a generator in mine cause that front compartment is really handy for the least used items...I keep tools, ladder, small blower and my compressor in there...Like I said, I personally wanted a toy hauler but lost that fight. I then wanted good luxury and I felt this was a great compromise cause it was cheaper than both a Montana and Bighorn and I would argue in some cases, better...Good Luck!

I see on the Keystone website that the 3556 is listed as "stock only". What this usually means is that it is a discontinued model and you only have the option of what is left in dealer stock. If you want a 3556, you better get one quick because I don't believe you would be able to order one.

We love our 3500re the fit and finish are great. I have not found another rig that I like as much or more than ours.Of course every new rig has its bumps in the road but nothing I couldn't handle fixing myself. Again a great unit and I hope you join the Alpine family soon. "bouncey:

Long story short...we had made up our mind to purchase an Alpine. One Alpine we were willing to purchase had a couple "cosmetic" issues inside. The salesperson said they would not do any fixes until money is put down! We walked away. We completely love our Alpine and after approximatly 55,000 miles on the freeways, highways, byways and some not so good side roads it is still tight as a drum!

As with any new purchase, a full and thorough Pre-delivery walk through is a must. Once the "Bugs" are out, you should be very pleased with your Alpine. It is a well made product.

We looked at A LOT of different models/brands and decided on the Alpine because it was the nicest of all (in our opinions). It gave us a nice home feel and has been absolutely wonderful to use. Very happy we bought it, no regrets at all.
