Thinking of reserving a site at this campground. It's located between I-5 and 99W on hwy 18 outside of Dayton, OR (near the Spruce Goose). Have any of you stayed with them? Looks good on Google, but, thought I would ask for members' reviews? (tx)

I have driven past it many times, never went into it to check it out. It is close to the highway and that highway has car/truck traffic 24/7. Could be loud road noise at times. The nearby casino, Spirit Mt. has been said to be Oregons #1 tourist place. That highway is a main coast to Portland route and add the casino it causes alot of weekend traffic. The Aviation and Space museum nearby is now also drawing a big weekend crowd and a must see if you like planes. The remodeled old RVs have been getting local news coverage for a place to stay when you do not have a RV. They stay onsite and rent them. Co-workers from the State police never said anything about the place just the up tick in crashes due to high volume of weekend traffic on SR 18 in that area.

We stayed there a couple of years ago. It was a nice park that was central to all of the things we wanted to do in the area. We enjoyed the Museum and took most of a day to explore McMinnville and Carlton.

Thanks for the replies. Only staying there one night on our way to the Ds's house in the Bremerton area. We usually stay at the Portland/Woodland RV Park off exit 271, but last time the stop & go traffic on I-5 and the traffic backed up at the intersections around the RV Park and the adjacent mall were crazy! We'll give this new park a shot. It's not that far out of the way:)

Wife and I have stayed numerous times. We go wine tasting as there are plenty of nice wineries within 15 minutes of there. Some with great views of the valley and some decent wines. Air Museum (spruce goose along with many other aviation history pieces) is about 10 minutes away.
Many of the spaces are seasonal spaces.....however the overnight spaces are cement pads (mostly level) and you can get either a pull thru or back in....clean and not too noisy.
