Hi, My wife, son and I are getting ready for a camping trip. We will likely be dry camping so I want to make sure I'm correct. Which fuel tank is for the generator, the front or rear? I've ready many people say they were mis- labeled. Additionally, does anyone have a rough estimate of the fuel burn for hour on the generator? I know it depends on what your using, we will just likely be running the AC, A LOT. Thanks

I ended up getting under the trailer to see where the tubes went. My front tank is the Gen and the back is the Aux. But I would suggest you look under the unit to figure it out. With everything running I'm around a gallon an hour.

From manual Onan 5500 spec:
No Load -- .35GPH
Half load -- .6 GPH
Full Load -- .95 GPH
While checking location of generator tank fill tube should also ensure fuel gauge on control panel ismoving as you are filling.
