We only use our trailer to spend the winter on our lot in Florida. We have a Laredo 322RL with 3 steps to get into the door. The steps are steep and not particularly sturdy if you're coming in with the your arms full. I'm looking for a clever design for wooden steps that I could build and use. I would like for them to be able to be knocked down for storage and transport. The condo rules won't allow me to leave them the lot without the trailer there. Is there a ready made solution? Since we're there for 4 to 5 months and are in and out a lot I would like to make them a bit larger. Any clever ideas out there? I hate to re-invent the wheel here. Attached is a photo of my set-up.

Thanks,
Dennis

Here are a couple of ideas to get you started:

First is a set of "break down" steps that can be nested in the back of your truck

Second are some commercial deck/step solutions that is rather "pricey" but very functional:

I'm sure there are other ideas, but these two have been discussed on the forum in the past. Good Luck

Thanks JRTJH. I really like the home built unit. I could build that once I get down there this fall and when I leave I could store them under a neighbors house. I also like the aluminum set but I feel the wooden set would be sturdier. The steel set wouldn't last long in the salt air (600 ft from the ocean) and I would be constantly painting them. Thanks again for the idea.
