So, I've been wanting to change out my cigarette sockets to Anderson Powerpole connectors (You can read about that here) (http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/showthread.php?t=22696). I only have 2 factory installed cigarette sockets, and the one in the dinette has USB outlets combined with it, so that one's out. The other one I thought I might have room under the outlet.

Taking the plate off the wall, I saw that the socket is molded in as part of the plate and it's also soldered to a circuit board for the antenna booster. No room at the Inn.

The plate on the far left was to send video to either the outside or bedroom F connectors (I forget which). In its present form, it sends the antenna signal. Disconnect one end and connect to a different video output and you can send DVD, etc. I'll personally never do this, so I just used one of the adapters off that plate and connected the two wires together and shoved them in the wall. Now I have an empty plate area! Cut the opening in a blank plate and-

I've grabbed the power off the cigarette socket and fed it to the powerpoles. The white plate is just for a trial run. I may keep it to indicate a powerpole connection, or change it to black to match the rest. I could've bought a ready-made plate from Powerwerx, but when all was said and done it would've cost over $40 shipped (plate with 2 openings, 2 chassis mounts). Mine was $13. Additonal chassis mount would be $15 (shipped).
Any new 12 connections will be powerpole.
