I've been looking at adding some accessories to my Camp Chef stove. Looking at the grill boxes, griddle, and possibly the pizza oven. Wondering if anyone else has any of these accessories and what their opinion is. I rrealize I'm not saving storage space by replacing my mini BBQ grill with the grill box, but I do like the idea of one place to do all of my cooking vs 2 or 3 items set up around the camp.

Do you know which grill box you have, 30, 60 or 100?

Bought it years ago so I'm not sure. I have the 3 burner stove and the griddle covers 2 and the box 1.
A few years ago I got the oven, I wouldn't try to do any precise baking, but it makes biscuits/garlic bread easy enough, and has 2 burners on top.

I have the pro 90 stove and the pro griddle and single burner grill box. The griddle is the bomb. Fantastic to cook on. The grill box is only average. I use it for quick hot dogs or such otherwise I am cooking over the fire with the camp chef lumberjack grill. But I can't say enough about the griddle. Absolute must have IMO

I cook about 90% of our food on the griddle, it truly is DA bomb! The BBQ box is for tri tip, chicken and such. Also a tradition for me to make a pork fatty using the box...YUM "bouncey:

Sounds like a couple purchases are in the near future. Thank you.

I hope you guys have had better luck getting your campchef griddles to heat evenly. I have a generic cast iron griddle that gets very hot over the burner and just warm in other areas. If I cook large quantities of anything I spend a lot of time moving food around on the griddle..

The griddle I use covers two burners and seems to heat evenly. I like it for cooking on one side and keeping food warm on the other. Great for frying bacon, using that grease for the taters, and then pushing it to the side while making the scrambled eggs. It stays warm enough to heat large flour tortillas....YUM, burritos

The Camp Chef griddle is not an ordinary griddle (and it shouldnt be for the 140 bucks or so it cost). It has large welded on diffuser plates under the griddle itself to help evenly heat it. That being said, the back or top of the griddle is a little hotter than the bottom (closest to you), but the thing is a tank. Well worth the money and I would not be without it. It makes any other griddle (electric or regular) I have ever used look like a $2.99 blue light special.

The Camp Chef ones have a plate welded to the bottom to help diffuse the heat evenly. Makes them heavy as hell but they work very well.

I bought it back in about 2007 from Costco. One of my better buys.
