Our trailer had an outlet and a cable jack in the cargo bay but nothing to mount a TV. I bought a drop down TV mount, 90 degree cable and power connectors from Amazon, and since I didn't want to trust the mount to hold the TV up I bought a strap that holds the refrigerator closed in the outdoor kitchen from Trekwood. A couple of small pieces of aluminum angle bolted to the floor joists and a chunk of 1x6 screwed to that and the mount is secured. I shortened the refrigerator strap and attached that mainly as a security measure in case a bump pops the TV down from its latch.

Thanks, I think total for everything including the TV is about $200.00.

Great mod! Ours has a block on the bulkhead wall where the bedroom DC powered tv can be put with it's mount, but I like having one mounted like you've got much better. Might do the same myself!

Yes, there are two sizes of that brand, I used the smaller one. I wasn't sure how big I wanted to go with the TV at that time then I got my TV/DVD combo at Sam's Club. After doing it I probably could have used the larger mount and a bigger TV, but this will be ok with the 24" TV I have. The larger mount with a bigger TV would have plenty of room in my compartment but I tend to fill it up with stuff.
