We are the Davis from Texas. We have been rv'ing for about 2 years. Started with a bumper pull two years ago, loved it, sold it and just bought a 2011 Fuzion 412 toy hauler. Excited about getting out there and start rv'ing again. I have a 2015 Ford F-250 to pull this unit. Any suggestions or comments on my truck for pulling this size camper? TIA

First, welcome to the forum and getting back to RVing once again. Comments on your F250 pulling your 412 TH ....... if it were me, I'd seriously look at a DWF350/450. That's a lotta TH for your Ford. But that comment is an "off the cuff" remark and based on the very limited information provided on the 412 and your TV.

I'm sure you'll get some comments from the many TH owners we have here on the forum.

Congrats in the new trailer. With a 250, you will most likely be over payload if you have a diesel or over tow load is it is gas. At a dry weight of over 14,000 and a pin weight of 3,200 to start, the truck will seem small. Pin weight will increase once loaded as will trailer weight. The 250 if gas will have a 3200 or so payload and a tow value of about 12,000. With the diesel it will be more like 2200 and 18,000. As stated, take a look at 350's and 450's and probably DRW. Good luck, that is a nice looking rig but it is big.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the 412. I Hate to see you welcomed this way but the above posts are accurate. The pin weight alone will likely exceed the payload of your F250. Add weight of passengers, gear to bed, add-ons, and 200 lbs for hitch and I'm sure you get the picture. Look at the yellow sticker in your driver door jamb. It will tell you how many lbs the truck is rated to carry.
I hope the RV salesman didn't tell you that you had enough truck.
