What is the best angle for a travel trailer to ride, level, nose down or high?

Level to slightly nose down

Thanks. My trailer is currently nose down and pulls very well. I didn't know if getting closer to level would adversely affect it or not.

I try to set mine as close to level as possible, you want to have the weight as evenly distributed as possible for towing. Having the nose two high will cause weight transfer in the wrong direction and poor handling.

You'll probably increase your TV mpg slightly by leveling up... less vortex at tail end. You probably won't notice the handling, but the pocketbook might!
$$$ = more camping!

I was running very level but only had 5" of tailgate clearance. After a very close call of tailgate/trailer contact, I raised my hitch 2". Now I'm running a bit nose high but worrying less. I need to weigh my axles separately to see if I have issues.
