New slab(pad) for the 371.

Had to wait for some decent weather to get this slab poured. Next is to get some electrical hookups run and a cover built over the slab...daughter and son in law are glad to get it out of their driveway!

Looks good. We are almost done with the building to keep our 395 out of the weather. We went with crush-n-run (same as the rest of our driveway). I installed a 50amp plug on the side of the garage for the camper to plug into. It will be nice to have a place to keep this beast.

Look's good....Waiting for an electrician buddy to come out and install my outlet's...one 50 amp and one 115v. Never can tell down here when we may have to evacuate and head North due to hurricanes.

If you have wind in your area, you might want to consider some type of side to side and front to rear "bracing". We don't have wind often here but the shed/carport being 12' tall catches a lot of wind leaned over severely just being bolted to the pad. First installed 10's 4x4 in 4 places to bolt 4 uprights to. This helped but even then the structure still swayed in the wind. I came be in installed X cables in 3 places to tighten the structure. Just thought would pass this along and hope it helps.

how tall is that? I have 12 foot poles on mine and I can tell that's a lot taller for the TH. I have picture of mine on here somewhere(found it) 16X41X12 with enclosed curb side and 3foot enclosed on door side now.

Since this photo I have closed the left hand side in with a 3' piece back to the carport. I had the 30 amp rv plug already so I just left it.

Ours is 14' tall and its 24' wide by 41' long. We spent a little extra and had it certified for winds up to 130mph. It has a total of 12 4' mobile home anchors that are every other post. It cost more to have it setup that way, but being fairly close to the coast it's a requirement here. So far we have had some fairly strong winds and it may move an inch or so, but other than that its rock solid.

Nice job on the slab. Like the RV carport. Wish I could find a company that would build one in South Florida. All I have contacted stay clear of Florida because of the wind speed spec's. If anyone knows of a company that will build one in South Florida please let me know. Have the slab need the carport.

Try Elephant structures. That is who I got to do mine. They make the certified buildings and should be able to help you out.
