Been pulling my 2004 Everest 5th wheel with 2 wheel drive Ford F250 but bought an 07 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4. Issue is the new truck sits higher in back and I want my 5th wheel to pull level. Any ideas?

I have the original kingpin and i pull with with a Reese 14K 5th wheel hitch with 4 levels of adjustment. I have been pulling on 2nd to highest level, so I'll try to down one or two levels to see if the under side of the RV will still clear the bed rails. We'll see.

A bit more info may help our members provide a better reply. ;)

Do you have the original pin box on the 5th wheel? If not, what do you have?
And, what type/brand of hitch do you have installed in the truck? Is it adjustable?

Once again, welcome...

If you can't adjust the hitch, see if there is a lift spacer in between the rear spring and axle? Might be able to lower the back of the truck by removing the spacer.

I did this on my 1500 Sierra to lower the rear and make the truck sit level. Got Firestone air bags to bring it back up when loaded.
