Just hooked up my 415 to my truck and it sat really low when we took it to Ohio. Anyone have any tricks to make the 2013 f250 tow better?

Outside of unscrewing the radiator cap and sliding an F350-F450 dually under it I got nothing.. :D

YA I can believe that, CONGRATS I think you now have the record in my eyes. 2500 linked up to a Raptor 415. Solution: attach a 3500 Dually to it. Your TV Raptor combination is way out of align.

I'm thinkng I'll just put the firestone air bags on.

Adding air bags might level out the two units but will do nothing to increase the towing capacity. If it were me, I'd have a real close look at whether or not your 250 is capable of safely towing that "beast". It will tow it but are you overloaded? My guess, without seeing any numbers of either unit, is that you are.

I think Javi's suggestion is spot on!

Using your numbers:

TV payload capacity 2320 lbs

19K load at 22% approximate Raptor pin weight 4180 lbs

Do you see any problems

Not with air bags, no I don't

As I previously stated ...installing air bags will do absolutely nothing to increase you towing capacity or payload. The air bags may smooth out the ride or help make the two units sit more level ---- that is it.

You can do it... well, you are. but man.. that is a lot of weight. I am surprised your front wheels aren't off the ground. I think you said 19K loaded? What part of this wonderful USA are you from?

Feel like I am in a tree hugger forum. Fellas, aperantly you want to talk about should I be towing with my truck not about what my question is. If you do not have anything positive to add please stop as I am not getting into a on line debate

The Firestone air bags for sure and also check out the Torklift StableLoad, these work great.

You have a 6" lift. I'm curious about the distance between the truck bed rails and the bottom of the 5ver ?
Air bags will level it , I think the guys are worried about you pulling the guts out of the drivetrain. No doubts it will pull it.

I think what folks are trying to say is "Yes, that is a great truck but it will not stay that way for long if abused like that." You may even be overloading the air bags, especially with that much lift. On the positive side ... I wish you luck and safe travels on level ground. JM2¢, Hank

What brand lift you have on the Ford? From what I see on line, that is a nice looking trailer you got there.

ooooooo sytarting to get sassy now!

Folks are more open to "hey you are all messed up" when it's communicated without emotion or using a condecenting tone in statements. gezzz

Remeber that one time in high school??? about 10 min ago?? lol

Obvsiouly this is the wrong place to ASK questions. Found a few others and got some tips and ideas. Even a few there let me know I was over loaded my the book, but were not so nasty about it... It was more of a let us help tone.

Go ahead and reply all you want and .... I will not be signing back on. (I know how up set you will be) HAHAHAHA(tx)

I have a friend that's pulling a 44 foot Voltage with an F350 SRW, he might have this guy beat. Better yet, his 5th wheel hitch capacity is slightly under the max weight of his toy hauler. He said they were way "overbuilt"! He does have airbags though, so all is well.

I'm think the OP has to be joking, but then again maybe he's not.
