Hi all,

We have a Cougar 326 SRX. We absolutely love it. Here is our issue;

I am VERY, VERY meticulous about all of our things. From the big rig all the way to our All Mountain, Mountain Bikes.

So in our SRX's "garage bay", we have two dirt bikes, our Honda Generator, and our two Mountain Bikes. I load her KTM in backwards and my Husaberg in straight ways. They are tight to one another, and secure.

Then come our Mountain Bikes. There is plenty of room, but I can't seem to find a QUICK, simple and effective way of securing them so they don't move, without them being scratched up by the dirt bikes foot pegs, axle nuts or lower fork leg.

Please, and ideas? Can you post a picture of your set up?

Thanks in advance!

Also, are wheel chocks really necessary? I just use a strap around the front brake lever, locking the brake on. Is this a bad idea?

I kind of have the same issue now that the wifey wants to bring her bike (which means I have to bring mine). :)

I have a couple of axle clamps for the front forks that I am going to mount on a removable bracket. I am also thinking of a bracket of some sort that will keep the rear of the bikes apart and away from the GS. I'm going to experiment with PVC pipe between the rear axles, drilled and held together with smaller bungies. A similar piece of PVC pipe could keep the two bicycles away from the motorcycle.

Let us know what you develop.

Here is what I came up with.

For the MTB's I bought the front fork mounts for a Thule bike rack and screwed
them down. Very stable and secure!
All loaded and secured, ready for Moab!!
