We pulled the trigger on a new Outback last weekend. I didn't see a battery or spare tire, but then I wasn't specifically looking for them. Does the battery live on a cross member at the hitch like all of the others or is it in another location? I also didn't see a spare tire on the back of the trailer, so I'm assuming it lives under the A-frame as well. If that's the case, I'm going to move it to a carrier on the back bumper to get some of the tongue weight down. Just curious. I guess I'll find out for sure when I pick it up.
