Hi everybody. My name is Vincent. I recently purchased a 2015 Keystone Cougar 28RDB. I upgraded from a Coleman pop-up camper. I also just purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 HD to go along with the 5th wheel. I hope to get a lot of camping and fishing in this year. Hopefully I can get some great input from fellow forum members of great camping spots within a few hundred miles from me. Nice metting everyone here.

Thanks guys. I am really looking forward to this year. The pop-up was nice but I got tired of setting it up real quick.

Congrats on your purchase. Popup to a 5ver is like night and day. You won't be able to live long enough probably to enjoy all the great spots within 300 miles of your home. A truly beautiful state.....

Welcome! There's no good camping anywhere within 100 miles of here. Bwahahahaha. Sorry, couldn't stop myself. Check Colorado state parks website for starters. Boondocking is great in pretty much any national forest in the state.

:wlcm: to the forum from W TX!! And, congrats on the new trailer. Yes, the difference between the pop up and the 5er will truly be night and day - especially if you have kiddos. You live in a beautiful state and there will be a zillion places for you to go within a few hundred miles. We go up around Ft. Collins and through Golden from time to time but spend most of our time in southern CO from Durango to Creed.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'm extremely happy with my upgrade. I've been on Colorado for most of my life and have never really explored it. So now I figured it would be a good time since boondocking with a 5th wheel is as easy as unhooking and pushing the auto level button. Setting up with the pop-up just wears you out, especially if you arrive at the campsite late at night.

Welcome. Come see your neighbors in Wyoming. Pop-up to trailer? We did that once upon a time and wouldn't EVER go back!

I don't blame you. I havent even taken mine out camping yet and I'm already wondering why I bought a pop-up in the first place.
