Need a little information on the Montana 305rl High Country. Does anyone know in the dinette has a sliding table? How much clearance is there between the chair backs and the side wall? How about the clearance between the chair back and the entertainment lounge? Are all the dump valves in the main station? Anything else a new buyer would need to know about this unit.

Also, anyone out there using Supersprings on their trucks towing a 5th wheel? If so, how is the ride quality. Thinking about putting them on my 2015 silverado 2500HD Duramax.

Thank you, Paul

Sliding table extension...yes, it is held with a clear plastic strap under the table.
Chair clearance...I dunno.
Dump valves....no. One is hidden farther back under the body. I painted the handle orange so I could find/see it.
I think they are completely changing the High Country. Downsizing the width. Adding king size bed option.
Towing with a 2500? You will likely be over payload. I'm bumping up to 3,000 pound pin weight.
I highly recommend an aftermarket air hitch of some sort.

Thankyoufor the info Gearhead. The only difference in my 2500 and a 3500 is the factory helper springs on the 3500 . I am going to bring the truck up to those specs.. The table, does it slide side to side. I have this in my Cougar and it makes the table and chairs so much more than without.

If I understand your question about the table...no, I don't think so.
That yellow sticker inside the drivers door is what the law will look at. If they ever look.
Keep that Montana brochure with you that talks about towing the High Country with a 2500. Show it to the cop and see what he says. Really.

You are right about the sticker on the door. Maybe I should be looking for a trailer with less pin weight. I was using the advertised pin weight from Keystone which appears to be way off by what you have as a weight. 3000 would put me way over my GVW but still less that my GRAW. Oh well, nice trailer just the same.

Yeah, they advertise 2175# hitch weight. My scale weight on my truck rear axle is showing 2700+ pounds difference with and without the trailer on it. Add 250# for the hitch in the truck bed and I'm right at 3000 payload on the truck. My yellow sticker shows 3265 payload capacity. We want to install a combo washer/dryer sometime and that will get us right at max capacity. All my weights are with a full tank of diesel in the truck. So, it's worst case scenario.
It all adds up pretty quick: 2 batteries, 2 tanks of propane, the bedroom A/C, a few chairs & tools in the storage bay, and the wife's 28 pairs of shoes.

looks like you need to make a run to a dealer to view the rv yourself...it is a new model.

as for weight, it seems that 90+% of the rvers use a 3/4 ton truck so don't worry about it. enjoy also, you can upgrade your 3/4 ton truck but it will still be rated as a 3/4 ton truck.
