Well, I did it - I finally joined this fantastic forum. This forum helped me decide which RV to purchase, reminded me of maintenance that would need to be performed, helped me consider budget for repairs, and provided hours of reading while my wife and I decided to RV or not.

January of 2014, after reading this forum for two years and searching every RV dealer within 400 miles, we did it.
We purchase a brand new Montana 3850FL and could not be happier.

After only two outings, I am still learning and look forward to reading more about trips and experiences from the forum.
Maybe, in a few years, I might be able to post an answer or two when I grow up.

Thanks to everyone and happy RV-ing.

:wlcm: We love the 3750FL, the predecessor to your unit, especially the floor plan. Enjoy!

Thank you.
We looked long and hard at the 3750FL and the 3850FL before making our final decision.
Both floor plans are great!

I see you have a 3850Fl and are pulling it with a 2500 Hd. I just purchased one and I am still waiting to pick it up but was wondering how your truck handled that 5th wheel. I have the same set-up and have been a little nervous about the first pull. Any insight would be appreciated.
