Spent a little over a week in western Virginia. Found a gem of a campground a little off the beaten path. CG is Natural Chimneys Park in Mt Solon VA. Had it basically to ourselves last Sun night thru Thursday night. All sites have electric and water. Few have sewer. Had to make 2 runs to the dump syation with the blue tank but not a big deal. CG was well worth it. 15 min from Rt 81. 10 min from the Geo Washinton Natl Forest. Due to length of stay... $20/night. Sites are large....many wooded. One loop bavks up to woods. Firewood is reasonably priced...delivered.
Will stay there again! Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.
Close enough to Bridgewater, Dayton, and Harrisonburg if you need something.
