On a previous mod, I built a drawer that slid under my futon for clothing storage. It worked ok, but I had to move one end of the futon out away from the dining table to slide the drawer out(drawer just rested on the floor). I shortened the drawer a few inches to clear the futon legs, and attached it to the bottom of the frame using 24" drawer slides. Much easier to use now, and don't slide around while traveling.
