We've been to San Antonio before, but stayed elsewhere & did day-trips. Will be going back in mid-October
(to be tourists again) and want to stay in SA this time.

Anyone have comments/opinions or recommendations for: Blazing Star -or- Admiralty -or- KOA

I've read the reviews on all 3 places (looked at aerial maps, etc) and know it's going to be close quarters
regardless, but... we have opposing slide-outs, and "very narrow sites" seems to be common complaint.
And just how narrow is "waaaaay too narrow"? :D

Our forum thread is a year old -still good info- but does anyone have a recent visit/update? Please & thank you! (tx)

Just noticed your thread...sorry still a newbe. If you are Active or Retired military there is a super campground on Fort Sam Houston. It is close to just about everything, and has full hookups and the added security of being on Post. Have to drive around the National Cemetery to get to it, but it is well worth it.

Admiralty definitely. We have stayed there twice. You won't be disappointed. Ask for a site on the outside rows of the park, the 600 row or the 100 row. There will be plenty of room for your slides. Easy access to most of San Antonio from here. J.B. the manager is great! Tell him the guy with the 3-legged dog sent you! We checked out Blazing Star last year and it is tight! I would pass on that one.
