2014 or 2015 Couguar

I purchased a 2014 Couguar 28BHS in February 2014. While searching the internet for my travel trailer I noticed that none of the 2014's I saw looked anything like mine nor were the features the same. I searched for a 2015 Couguar 28BHs and it is exactly the same as my so called 2014. Can anyone explain to me how this can happen? All the paperwork states its a 2014 but it is identical to a 2015.

It's the way Keystone and other RV manufacturers designate the actual date of manufacture in relation to their marketing date. For example, our Cougar was actually built in 2007 (12/3/07) according to the sticker but advertised and sold as a 2008 .... Paperwork included!


It's not unlike the auto industry's manufacture vs marketing strategy.

My 31SQB was built May 19, 2014 and is titled as a 2015.

My 2013 Premier Bullet is like the 2014's and not the 2013's. They made the changes half way through the year rather than waiting so I made out.
