Hi Everyone,

2010 Raptor 361LEV.

My oustide speakers are "done like dinner". I don't ever think they worked well - you can have the volume set to HIGH and only a peep of sound comes out of each of them.

In any case, I want to replace them. The current ones are Sony 6".

Does anyone have any recommendations of something that would fit and sound good?

Thank in advance.

As far as the speakers go, I would say any quality marine grade speaker would work well.

If you are going to be changing your speakers, you should read through this also:

Presume you adjusted the "Fader" control to the outside and still minimal sound???

The crappy stock speakers are only the beginning. The stereo head unit is sub par at best and the OEM speaker wires are too small gauge to support any amperage.
If you upgrade your exterior speakers to a decent marine grade, you will likely be disappointed.
I upgraded them on my last Keystoneand the sound difference was noticeable but not worth the $ I spent.
I don't like high volume anyway as I believe my loud music would be a nuisance in campgrounds anyway.

The wires are large speaker gauge wires . I replaced my with marine grade LG speaker. Big difference .. I dry camp a lot we blast our music in the desert. Now if we were at a camp ground I think any outside music would disturb the old folks. By the way I'm just 62.

We dont use our outside speakers.I installed a radio and speaker in the front storage bay,I got tired of going in and out to change the channel or volume, and DW got me a outside rock speaker that I plug in when she goes to sleep so the music stays outside and dont travel into the bedroom right above the speaker in the storage bay ,Works great for me :D Just my 2 cents.
