Tried to upload side by side comparison with the new compared to old, file to large. Anyway I'm sure you get the idea. The difference is more than I expected. Glad I switch them out.

Looks good. Was it a standard fit?

Perfect fit, no problems. Covered old light area and previous hole perfectly. Save old screws for upcoming projects. So simple to install. spent a lot of time conversing with JRTJH (Thanks), asking questions, he was very helpful. Hardest part was running a fish line down behind trailer wall to pull license plate wire.

So I'm curious, why did you have to fish for the license plate light, should it not have been with the rest when you changed the regular out with the LED's?

LED's are separate by themselves, they do not have a licensee plate bracket. Bracket was bought separately and mounted separately. Made a second hole about six inches below taillight hole and fished wire to there. A little tight, but great fit.

I like it as well. So many things I want to do to mine...so little time (and money!).

Depending on the units (LED) that you get, some have the license plate bracket and light as a part of the entire assembly. The Bargman LED tail lights I used came with the license plate bracket and light as part of the tail light assembly itself - no need to fish a wire or mount another license plate bracket:
