After we bought this trailer I found that the sofa was a bit uncomfortable. After 2 weeks of vacationing with it I found that the sofa was unbearable. I happened to be at Costco and saw that they had a leather recliner sofa that just might fit. I measured the area of the old sofa and found that it is a perfect match, color and size as well. As I disassembled the old sofa I found that most of the hide a bed mounting hardware was on the floor, not a nut in place. Anyway I removed the old one and loaded in the new one and what a difference that makes. Why couldn't Keystone do that in the first place. This is just one of many upgrades I'll have to do to make this thing right.

I had to move my couch in my 342 and found half my bolts on the floor too. The arm wasn't even attached, and most of the bolts were on the floor. Sigh. Easy to fix though.

Would love to see pics of the new one!

This sofa has all leather seating and it reclines out all the way with out hitting the wall. The 2 ends are all that recline. There is just plenty of room to reach the actuating levers on the sides. The only drawback is that when the slid is in all the way the left side recliner is against the island. I put a blanket between to keep from rubbing anything. Otherwise it is a perfect fit and much more comfortable. The model # is 859497, Cheers manual motion leather sofa from Costco. It comes in a box in 4 peaces. The backs are all separates so getting it in your coach is not too bad.

can you give us the measurements of the furniture, or of your slide?

Looks really good, by the way!

Is it comfortable?

I went right to a Costco store and bought it. They had plenty on the floor but I didn't check their on line stuff.

The sofa measures at 89" W, 42"D, 41" H and I think the slide is 94"-96" wide.

It is very comfortable, even better than what I have in the house. I like having a headrest where the other stuff didn't come up high enough in the back to provide any.

How "hard" was the installation? Did you take any pictures of the process ?
Can I ask you how much did you pay for the sofa?

Thanks!

Not to bad, it just sets right where the old one sat. It is not bolted down or anything but neither was the old one. It does set away from the wall at the bottom to accommodate for the reclined seating. I didn't take any pictures of the install because it was done pretty quick. I did take a picture of the slide with nothing in it though. I was worried that the old sofa bed was bolted to the wall and would leave holes in it but that was not the case.

I paid $780.00 for the sofa, money well spent!!

After reading this we removed the sofa out of our FZ301 and went to Sams club and purchased their reclining leather sofa. It looks great and we used it this past week in Hatteras NC. So much better then the old sofa.

Did you have to consider the weight of the new sofa-especially since it is in the slide out?

It does weigh a bit more than the old stuff but not a significant amount. I would venture a guess of not more than 50-75 lbs.
