We are somewhat new RVers and love our 2014 Outback 298RE. We've been RVing since 10/2012 when we purchased a 2006 KZ Jag, then a year later purchased our new Outback during 10/2013. Have been working in property management within the public sector for about 20 years, but still have about 6 years until retirement. 3/2014 purchased a new/used 2004 Ram 3500 dually with 41,500 original miles to tow the Outback, unlimited power and drive. :)

I spent about 25 minutes composing a post or message about a hitch only to find out that I've been kicked-out by time. Oh well, I'll re-post later.

We're close neighbors, so welcome to the forum. We enjoy SangChris, and especially the convenience of camping there when the mood strikes us! Hopefully see you there some weekend!

Hi Ed & Mary,

If you couldn't tell I'm very new at this. I was just messing around this evening and saw your post, sorry that I didn't respond sooner. Anyway, we are very close we're over here on Circle Drive. We reserved at Sangchris 5/9/14 but ended up taking TT back to Pontiac for a warranty fix. We'll look for you at Sangchris. Thanks for the welcome.

Just curious if either of you have stayed at Double J. Have seen it a few times when traveling, but haven't checked into it. It looks like a nice park, but I typically don't like staying at places that close to the highway.

Welcome Rick! We're just down the street in Chatham.

Sorry Brent, because we haven't stayed there, we go by it often and have driven through it once. They installed a new large in-ground pool this spring, the place is always crowded, but I think you'll have that near the capital city. I have to assume that you'd have a lot of interstate noise considering how close it is there plus there's 6 lanes of traffic, 3N/3S.
