We are planning a trip for ourselves and several family members to the Ohioplye area for rafting, caving & hiking trip. We will have a combination of travel trailers, pop up and tents so will need sevral sites. We like the state park there but they do not allow dogs in the camping area. I have looked at the Jellystone in Mills Run, an US Army Corp campgound and Benners as well as a few others. Has anyone got any experience in the area? We would love some suggestions/thoughts on the area. Thanks!

I have never camped in PA, so I can not help ypu there. I do used this site a lot to find good camp grounds and for 99% of the time the reviews are right on.

There is another reviewer of camp grounds also which I use sometimes. http://www.gocampingamerica.com/index.aspx

You do not have to be a member to either site to use the reviews, only to post any reviews on a camp ground is a membership required.

I also use Park Reviews. Have posted on it as well. I find people are honest in expressing their individual experiences. Of course; you need to consider your equipment versus the "comment".... some have multiple excellent reviews and others not so great....I go with the flow of "positives"...:)
