Howdy all!

Just a quick intro...

-Started off camping in a tent with the wife in 1994.

-Moved to a 1998 Rockwood 2308 pop up when the kids came. Had a hard time finding popup information during our search. Stumbled across PopUpTimes and learned about pop ups from the forum.

-In 2001 a few friends and I formed the Great Lakes Pop Up Club (GLPUC) so we could camp with "pop up people". It grew to five states including members from IN, IL, MI, OH, and WI. It is still going strong today :)

-With three girls in the house a bathroom made sense so we moved into a 2003 Jayco Kiwi 23B and have been camping in it ever since.

This past Saturday we put a deposit down on a 2015 Passport 2400BH and we pick it up this weekend.

Joined the forum to research and learn more about keystone products :)

Sounds similar to our progression of camping. We started out in an umbrella tent in 1978. Moved to a larger, lodge-style tent when the first kiddo arrived and the port-a-crib wouldn't fit in the tent. Difficulty getting up off the ground led us to borrow, rent, and finally own a pop-up. Had the pop-up for about five years. Extreme nerve pain after setting up on my own, coupled with horribly humid weather the summer of 2012 led to the purchase of a 2010 Keystone Outback 301BHS. The need for more space in the bunkhouse led to the purchase early this season of a 2014 Keystone Passport 3290BH. We love, love, love being off the ground; being able to open the door and be ready to camp (we're on a seasonal lot). For our family, this is what works best. the way we can be ready to go with little effort; be ready to enjoy the campground as soon as we drive in.

We do get teased about our "elegant camping" but I tell them, "Hey, we've paid our dues." That spot over there was a pit for primitive camping and we spent many a night there over the years! No electric, no fans, no potty, just the tent, sleeping bags and us! Kinda shuts them down, a bit!

Welcome to the world of less-stress camping!

Thanks all. Can't wait to pick it up. We gave the dealer a list of our concerns after spending about two hours as a family walking back and forth between the 2400 and the 2650 on their lot. We made a family decision on the 2400 and picked it apart pretty good. We pick it up this Saturday and will see how well the service department does on prepping trailers LOL

Well everything went smoothly with pick up. The dealer did a great walk through with us and all concerns were addressed. We couldn't be happier with the service we received.

After arriving home we found that the entry door was a little sticky. It appears that the screws holding the striker plate on are scrapping the door. I am going to replace the screw with flathead screws and see if it helps. The other thing we noticed after having it home was a screw fell out of the plastic skirting around the wheels. I have already put a new screw in. Hopefully that does the trick and it's not a reoccurring problem.

We leave tomorrow for a week of camping. Should be a good break in period :)
