LEDs do get little warm especially if you leave them on all night(DW). I hope you an see the white box is a little discolored and melted.

Yeah with all those wires stuffed in there I would expect it to get warm! That looks like a fire hazard!

Yes the cheep china leds get hot as hell I will not use them I use the leds in panel mounts cool and bright 2way tape some extra light is needed 2nd panel but most have lots of light with one ...Bushman

There are American retailers.... But I doubt there are ANY non-China LEDs for sale any place.

Isn't that the truth ... I don't think it has anything to do with China made leds or not ... I have some Cree xp led panels that will burn your finger as they are about 1 watt per led, all depends on what you buy and the power they are rated for. I have led panels on my marine aquarium that run damn hot as well (3 watt per led)... but for the equivalent amount of light in metal halide or even t5 ... its less heat.

Perhaps some of our members might be interested in knowing just where your LED's are made, how much you paid for them and where you got them from. A link to the site might be helpful.

Is it a single contact or a double? I think it should be a double...

I put the lights up Saturday. Drilled a hole through the porch light fixture. Ran the IR detector out, cut off the female adapter and ran the white extension cable into the camper. Very easy to solder the extension wires back on.

White box is inside, in the upper cabinet. Power comes off of the above the sink dome light.

Lots of silicon seal involved, but that's heat rated to 400.
